Overcoming Imposter Syndrome

Imposter Syndrome is a phenomenon that affects many individuals, regardless of their profession, education, or background. It is a persistent feeling of self-doubt and the belief that you are not deserving of your achievements.

Do you ever doubt yourself or your abilities? 🤔

Do you ever feel like you're just not good enough?

Or maybe you sometimes feel that someone will find out you aren’t who they think you are and expose you as a FRAUD?

If you're nodding right now, you may be experiencing "Imposter Syndrome"...

Imposter syndrome occurs when we grow and begin new things, we occasionally have a little voice inside our head that doesn't always support us.

Imposter Syndrome is a problem because it creates a significant impact on your performance and it means that you will eventually self-sabotage.

But more than just affecting your performance, Imposter Syndrome affects your well-being, happiness and self-worth. It simply doesn't feel good to constantly be stuck second-guessing yourself at every turn.

So I'd like to share with you the 10 signs of Imposter Syndrome, you can find out if any of these symptoms are stopping your success. Let’s begin….

🥺 Do you have trouble starting things because you want to get it right?

🥺 Do you have trouble delegating because you want it to be done right?

🥺 Do you criticise your own work?

🥺 Do you work back later than is necessary the majority of the time?

🥺 Do you find it hard to relax and feel the need to work?

🥺 Do you think that you “don't know enough yet.”

🥺 Do you say things like, “I don't have enough qualifications.”

🥺 OR “Nobody will listen to me.”

🥺 Do you compare yourself to others?

🥺 Would you rather try and figure things out on your own instead of asking for help?

So how do you actually stop feeling like an imposter and start owning the success you deserve?

The first thing is just to acknowledge the fact that the voice is sometimes there inside you and it's actually trying to convince you that you are a fraud. So just acknowledge that.

Just acknowledge that's what it's trying to do. The cool thing is what you can actually do with this voice is learn to fall in love with it.

What you want to do with this voice is actually communicate with it. And actually befriend it and turn that imposter into your greatest ally. And the way you do that is by asking it a question anytime you hear it. So if it's saying to you, "Look you don't have enough experience." What you want to say back to it is this, "So tell me what would you like me to learn about today?"

If you keep asking your imposter this question you will never ever stop striving to learn more, to educate yourself and to liberate and empower your self so you can actually go on to live the extraordinary life that you deserve.
