Hi, I’m Joanna Monardo

I’m a Certified Life Coach and Fasting Coach and founder of Empowered One Coaching, based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

As a highly experienced Secondary Teacher of over two decades, I have dedicated my career to shaping the lives of young individuals through education. After realising my passion for helping people extends beyond the classroom, I transitioned into the role of a Life Coach.

With a huge desire to educate, inspire and empower as many women as possible in the area of gut health and lifelong vitality, I began to research, and became highly invested in hormonal and metabolic health. I studied with Dr Mindy Pelz (founder of Fast Like a Girl) and became qualified through her teachings to help women of all ages, gain the confidence to naturally heal themselves.

I now guide women on a journey of understanding their own bodies, breaking free from cycles of chronic disease, metabolic imbalances, and mental fog.

True health isn’t about restriction—it’s about empowerment. When we learn to listen to what our bodies truly need, we unlock the ability to heal from the inside out.

Through my work, I have been able to make a positive impact on individuals and their lifestyles. I am committed to helping and teaching as many women as possible how to lead a healthy life in a way that is sustainable and realistic.

Identifying why you want coaching. Agreeing to what Coaching needs to look like for you. Identifying what your No.1 priority is right now and WHY it is important to you.

Crafting your breakthrough goal that you want to focus on during our time together, that will motivate and inspire you to take action every day, with accountability.

Laying the ground work. Learning how to eat correctly for your stage of life. Using a variety of eating styles. Understanding the benefits of a fasting lifestyle. Creating a personalised plan for your needs.

Aligning appropriate fasting windows with your diet and lifestyle. Mapping your plan to your cycle. If non-cycling, we map to your symptoms.

Learn to create new patterns and behaviours.

Resetting any challenging behaviours, review how you manage yourself, clear out anything else that could be holding you back from achieving your wellness goals from this point forward.
